FIVAS har fulgt utbyggingen av Theun hinboun-kraftverket i Laos siden planleggingen av kraftverket startet i første halvdel av 1990-tallet. I januar i år åpnet utvidelsesprosjektet «Theun Hinboun Expansion Project».
